Introduction

V1000 is a transport and logistics company. It provides dedicated Transport, Groupage and Warehousing services to B2B & B2C clients.

The "V" in V1000 refers to our Visionary philosophy and our Vast network. "1000" refers to our soul : "Mille grazie".

The activities are focused on the BENELUX region and parts of France.

A. Dedicated transport: full truck loads go directly from point A to point B.

B. Groupage: client has a couple of pallets that need te be transported, V1000 picks it up, stores it in the DWH and will group it with other pallets before sending it out.

C. Warehousing: for short periods of time the pallets from the clients are stored in the DWH, normally every night the WH is empty again.

V1000 offers great flexibility to its clients. On the website they state the following:

Anything ordered today will be picked up at your facility the following day by our preload department.

Lead times:

  • Benelux : load day A, deliver day B/C
  • France : load day A, deliver day C/D/E

Each customer has the ability to track their shipments through a portal (Shippeo) on the V1000 website. This portal was not a focus during the consulting.

In the future, we will further supplement this portal with the digital CMR, photos and other important information.
All necessary documents are now also available on our track & trace portal of TAS-TMS.
