-
py-exact: A Python package that is used to extract data from Exact.
-
Azure Function: Data is ingested from bouwsoft into the data warehouse using a set of ETL processes.
-
Azure Data Factory: The ETL processes are orchestrated using Azure Data Factory.
-
Azure SQL Database: The data is stored in an Azure SQL Database.
Clients
At pwrp, we are using Exact for example for the #hbr, #par, and #dho clients.
Difference to Power BI Connector
Exact has a Power BI connector. For many clients, this is enough. The main differences are:
-
our solution supports incremental downloads
-
it is easy to debug and compare data using an SQL
-
for usage in multiple reportings (Excel, Qlick, etc.) we need to configure only a single API access
Which tables can I download with the DWH (Exact edition)?
You can download all tables published via the REST API.
