Create Order

Task Details

Prerequisite

  • Agreement with client

Steps

  1. In planio, go to the right Channel

  2. Clieck on New > Issue

  3. Select Tracker: Order

  4. Add the Subject according to the following guidelines:

    1. AU-[BEXIO-ORDER-NR]: #code Title for Power Partners AG orders.
    2. OR-[BEXIO-ORDER-NR]: #code Title for Power Partners BV orders.
    3. PO-[PLANIO-TASK-NR]: #code Title for Product Orders.
    4. RO-[PLANIO-TASK-NR]: #code Title for Running Orders.
    5. IN-[PLANIO-TASK-NR]: #code Title for internal orders
  5. Write a Description that summarises the order for the client. This should be in the client's preferred communication language, and in a form that can be shared with the client.

  6. Assign the Porject Manager

  7. Set the Start date and the Due date as agreed with the client

  8. Set the Estimated time as offered and agreed with the client

  9. Set the Original Time Estimate (same as Estimated time)

  10. Set the Contract Type as agreed with the client

  11. Set the Order Number

  12. Set the Order Type (OR, AU, IO, RO, PO)

  13. Set the Company, but leave the Contact person empty.

  14. Add Checklist items, e.g. if you agreed on pre-conditions or delivered data with the client.

  15. Save

  16. Export to PDF

  17. Send to the client

Checklist

  • The Order is Saved
  • The PDF is sent to the client
  • As soon as the client has agreed, you can set the status to Defined
