The wordpress sidebar is somehow not working properly:
The problem: The language setting is not saved, and all blocks are shown no matter what language.
To change one of the sidebar boxes, you need to proceed as follows:

for the block you want to change, click the ...
-
convert to HTML
-
copy the HTML to the clipboard
-
create a new block "Paragraph".
-
Type some dummy text
-
set the language
-
Update (save)
-
Edit HTML and paste from cliboard
-
Update (save) again
-
the block shows as invalid content
