GDAP

This explains how to get access to a client tenant using GDAP (Granular Delegated Access Privileges).

GDAP replaced DAP (Delegated Access Privileges) in Q1 2023.

With DAP, a partner would get Global Admin rights on behalf of a client.

With GDAP, a partner gets granular rights.

Another difference is that with GDAP, the privileges are always for a limited time only.

To set up a client relationship, one needs to do the following:

  1. request reseller relationship for Power Partners

  2. request reseller relationship for Pax8

  3. request GDAP for Power Partners

  4. request GDAP for Pax8

  5. assign a role to the Power Partners GDAP relationship
