Installation Overview Power Partners Power BI Proxy

The installation of the PowerBI Proxy consists of installing and configuring the following components:

1. set up Azure (if you are not the owner of the subscription): pbi-proxy-azure-subscription

2. create or configure an Entra App pbi-proxy-entra-app

3. set up Power BI correctly: pbi-proxy-power-bi-setup

4. get a refresh token pbi-proxy-refresh-token

5. create or configure a KeyValut pbi-proxy-key-vault

6. deploy and configure the Power BI Proxy flask Web App pbi-proxy-web-app

7. create an App Config in Azure pbi-proxy-app-config

8. configure the App Config resource pbi-proxy-create-configuration

Prerequisites

• client-delivery-onboarding done, specifically
  • the client needs an Azure Subscription, and we are owner or contributor
  • we have a tech user with a Power BI Pro license and access to the workspaces that contain the reports that we want to show
