This is your opportunity to show what you have been up to last month. Take advantage of this half-hour meeting to impress your manager!

Process Details

Preparation

Line Manager

  1. review the action items from the previous meeting

  2. prepare information about new developments in the company

  3. prepare feedback you want to give the team member

Team Member

  1. Think about your work for a few minutes: What went well? Why? What is not yet working optimally? Why?

  2. Possible Questions:

    1. Where do you need support?
    2. What would you like to learn?
    3. What would you like to work on?
  3. Review the processes assigned to your role: in Role Assignments.

    1. Have you done them according to plan?
    2. If no: why?
    3. What information/access/skills are you missing to take ownership?
    4. Are there any processes you would like to take ownership of?

Agenda

  1. Opening questions by Line Manager

    1. What went well? How? Why?
    2. What didn't go well? Why?
    3. Where could the Line Manager help?
  2. Review Action Points from last MGM meeting.

    1. Which ones have been achieved?
    2. Which ones not?
  3. Information by Delivery Team Member: what developments are noteworthy?

  4. Information by Line Manager: What new developments are going on in the company? (organizational, strategic, other)

  5. Write down tasks that need to be done until the next meeting (Action Points)

IMPORTANT: Do not fill time! If everything is said, close the meeting without bad feelings. It's a good sign if you are efficient!
